The Vets is an exceptional at-home veterinary service that has redefined personalized mobile vet care for cats and dogs. Their vision was to revolutionize veterinary practice management by introducing an iPad app that empowers veterinarians to efficiently handle their practice from anywhere, right at their fingertips.
Enter Ranger – the solution that simplifies the lives of veterinarians. With this innovative app, scheduling appointments, managing client and pet information, and completing session reports become effortless tasks, freeing veterinarians from the constraints of traditional desktop software.
Our design solutions included creating an intuitive user interface that was optimized for the mobility challenges of an iPad app. The app features bright and colorful visual design elements, including playful icons and animations, that make it more enjoyable to use and easier for veterinarians to quickly locate the information they need.
One of the key features of Ranger is the “Session” function. This feature allows veterinarians to easily record information about each patient’s visit, including vital signs, subjective and objective observations, pet intakes, and recommended treatments, as well as discharge information. We designed the Session feature as a wizard with several steps, breaking down complex information into manageable parts and easing the burden of answering a lot of questions at once. We also created a user-friendly interface, featuring sliders and toggle buttons that allowed veterinarians to quickly fill the report.
