One AI aims to conduct natural conversations grounded in user content, driving action with controllable AI that steers conversations towards user-defined goals. Our studio designed and developed a comprehensive product, including a chat widget, control platform and rebranding to enhance One AI’s offerings. Users can input their own knowledge (website, docs, texts) to create an AI agent that can be embedded as a chat widget on their websites.
We started by developing a chat widget for One AI, focused on researching existing chat widgets predominantly used for customer support. We innovated by offering options different user experiences such as a window with pre-interaction previews and suggested questions, and a floating text field for immediate user input. Additionally, we developed features like voice chat, interactions inside the chat itself (such as CTAs), and a fact-check system that references the agent’s answers to the exact location of the source material. These features enhance user engagement and streamline the interaction process on websites.


Conversational Growth Platform
The control platform provides a robust environment for managing and customizing AI agents, viewing analytics, and handling user interactions. It includes quick access to essential tools, detailed analytics, and a voice chat feature for testing agent responses. The user interface is designed with a dark mode to improve focus and readability, using bold colors to highlight key information. Additionally, a sophisticated filtering system allows users to cut the data exactly how they want, facilitating in-depth investigation and analysis. This approach ensures a visually appealing and user-friendly experience, aligning with One AI’s goals of driving action through natural, content-grounded conversations.

Knowledge Base & Design System
The Knowledge Base page within the Studio platform empowers users to control the knowledge that informs the AI agent. When a website is added, the system dynamically loads and lists all the pages and links contained within that site. Users can easily monitor the number of pages added and identify any errors associated with crucial pages. Our objective was to design an intuitive and clear interface that efficiently displays all pertinent details, ensuring users can seamlessly manage and oversee the agent’s knowledge repository.
To support the depth and complexity of the One AI platform, we created a comprehensive design system to unify and govern all dimensions at scale, eliminating one-off solutions, and disjointed user experiences. Our design system includes component libraries that provide different teams with the flexibility and autonomy to extend and adapt the system while maintaining consistency. This unified approach ensures that every aspect of the platform aligns with One AI’s brand identity and user experience goals, fostering a cohesive and scalable product development process.

Rebranding of One AI
The rebranding of One AI was a pivotal step in repositioning the company from a developer-centric identity to one that appeals to a broader audience, including private users, e-commerce, and enterprise clients. The original brand featured a dark mode and monospaced typography, targeting developers. Our goal was to simplify the brand elements, opting for clean typography and light colors. While we retained the original color palette, we refined the shades to be brighter and more engaging. We incorporated photographs of people to simulate users of the product and developed a sleek iconography that integrates seamlessly with the visual content. These elements collectively convey a subtle technological feel, aligning with the brand’s new, more inclusive direction.
